Android and Apple Smartphones have a feature that enables the device to act as a wireless router. You are able to connect another device to the internet via the smartphone's Mobile network coverage.

Keep in mind that if you have limited data on your mobile plan, a hotspot can drain the data quickly. So, use it wisely and remember to turn off the Wi-Fi hotspot afterward.

On your iPhone:

  1. Go to your Settings
  2. Click into Personal Hotspot
  3. Make sure the slider is green to show enabled
